The Barrelhouse Ramblers are Blair County's two man band. With Bob and Bob, you get more than 20 years of local entertainment experience. We aren't your typical acoustic act. We have a rough edge with a very artistic approach to music. We're well versed in Country, Blues, Classic Rock, and Americana. Getting the audience fired up is what we're about. Whether it is playing at your local bar or private function, we have the variety it takes to make all listeners happy.

Discography

"Last time I saw Bob Onkst and Bob Prosser in action a few years ago, they were Half Baked. They aren't any more; the two Bob's now perform as the Barrelhouse Ramblers. During their early March performance at Altoona's Belmar Hotel, the Barrelhouse Ramblers entertained music lovers, patrons and beer chip bouncing contest participants alike with classics from the '60s, '70s, and '80s. The pair demonstrated solid and steady guitar work with clean leads, strong voices and vocal harmonies as they did songs by Tom Petty, Dwight Yoakam, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Beatles, Hank Williams Jr. and more. The Barrelhouse Ramblers offered consistency with a touch of ruggedness throughout their performance, and kept the Belmar audience content."
