Bio
The potential seems to have no ceiling as Hello,Vixen. continues to gain momentum. Their intense live shows continue to create instant fans across Pennsylvania, and they have become a staple at many venues known for their quality live music. “Our live show is the single most unique thing about Hello, Vixen. You have to see us to get a feel for what we are all about. We bring so much energy to each and every live show because we just love what we are doing,” declares front man Mark Simanski. Apparently, fans also love what they are doing as the loyal following grows by the day. One fan claims, “I have been coming to live local shows my entire life and have never seen anyone light up a crowd like this band.”

It’s not only the live shows that have been stirring up excitement among fans recently. The new demo album entitled I’ve Had a Few Cocktails has immediately turned these original songs into the crowd favorites. Darker lyrics blaze through edgy guitar riffs that seem to make every nerve-ending tap right along with your feet. “It is tough to completely categorize our music but we believe that people will appreciate new and different sounds,” says Bill Maguire.

Simanski believes that a great deal of the band’s early success can be traced to a great off-stage relationship between the five members. “I think you have to be friends outside of music because you don’t want to make your only time together all business.” But when it is time for business, things are getting done. “It is so satisfying to see a song go through its different stages and finally come out as the final product. Hopefully somebody can relate with each one and make a connection with us on some level.”

You can catch Hello, Vixen almost any weekend at local venues. You can listen to the new album and check tour dates at MySpace.com/HelloVixen.
