David, Duaine and Tom all started their musical careers in the mid 1960's. Tom toured the country with numerous groups most notably The Buckinghams who had hits with "Kind of a Drag" and "Don't You Care" along with many others and has been involved in recordings with various bands. Duaine performed in many bands and had a hit in 1978 with "Bring It On Home" while playing with Lickety Split, his record is available at George's Song Shop in Johnstown. David has performed in many bands since the mid-1960's, greatly inspired by The Ventures and The Beatles, and as a solo performer throughout the years and has written and recorded music and lyrics for a multitude of radio commercials and jingles. David and Duaine first joined forces together musically in 1969 when Duaine joined David's band Purple Inferno. They went on to form Talisman, followed by Stun*Daze and later Zabie Gazanger. They have played together for many many years and their guitar and bass styles certainly blend. Complimented by Tom on drums the three are a musical force ! All three sing lead and backup vocals. The Conniptions look forward to meeting you ! Attend one of our shows and enjoy listening to "Boogie Music" our original tune that we wrote back in 1972. We appreciate the support of our families, fans and good friends. We are having a blast bringing the music to you ! The Conniptions use a variety of vintage musical equipment in their performances and each member has their own collection of vintage musical instruments.

We play our brand of classic Surf-Rock instrumentals inspired by THE VENTURES and the crowds love these tunes as much as we do. The Conniptions play a mix of Rock and Roll that spans over 6 decades.
